About Guy Benzeno
I am a public speaking coach based in Luxembourg. I regularly serve as a moderator or master of ceremony for corporate events. I'm also an improv actor and instructor.
Since 2010, I am an ordained clergy member of the Church of Spiritual Humanism. As such, I am authorized to perform legally binding marriage ceremonies anywhere in the world for couples holding a valid marriage license issued by a State of the United States.
The first time I officiated a wedding was for my friends Agatha and Bradley in the Nevada desert at Burning Man in 2010. My wife and I got married in 2014, at the Domaine Thermal de Mondorf where we held a secular ceremony.
We asked my friend Gabriel Boisante to officiate the wedding. We asked my wife's friend and professional soprano signer Stephanie Ortega to sing. My father-in-law also played guitar at the ceremony, and our friends and family read selected texts and performed rituals that we chose for them.
Today, I live in Strassen with my wife and my two boys.
I believe that weddings held outside of church and city's hall (commune) hold so much more opportunity to be poetic and graceful. You can read more about what I think in this piece I wrote for PAPERJAM.
It would be my privilege to help you have this moment for yourself.
